MEET OUR TRAINERS

Alicia Bolin

Owner/Head Trainer

In 1981, I was diagnosed with childhood leukemia, a little-known and challenging disease to treat at the time. After enduring years of treatment at St. Jude Hospital, I was eventually declared cured at the age of 14. Although the chemotherapy saved my life, it left me with a host of long-term health issues as an adult.

Faced with a lifetime of adversity, I developed an unwavering determination to embrace fitness, strength, and overall health. Seeking knowledge and resources that were lacking in my own journey, I embarked on a different path. I dedicated months to shadowing a sports physical therapist and a corrective personal trainer, expanding my understanding of the intricacies of the human body and its healing processes.

Driven by my passion to comprehend and promote wellness, I pursued various educational opportunities. My credentials now include a NASM personal training certification, NASM certified women's specialist, NASM assisted stretch and flexibility coach, NPTI personal training diploma, and a 100-hour certification in nutrition. Additionally, I hold a fourth-degree black belt in Taekwondo, embodying discipline and resilience.

Today, I experience immense joy and excitement in assisting other women to achieve their fitness goals. By blending my personal journey, professional training, and teaching experience, I empower women to strive for optimal health. Total Body Metamorphosis becomes the conduit through which women discover their inner strength and unlock infinite possibilities for their well-being.

In this endeavor, I offer comprehensive fitness guidance and personalized plans tailored to each individual's unique needs. My approach combines physical training with nutrition, recognizing the vital role each plays in achieving holistic wellness. I strive to instill confidence, strength, and a lasting commitment to health in the lives of the women I have the privilege to guide. Let us together create a future where obstacles are transformed into opportunities and whDividerere every woman can embrace and celebrate her own Total Body Metamorphosis.

Even though I have been active my entire life, and, according to my dad, “strong as an ox,” my mid-thirties prompted a startling realization of just how far removed I was from my karate black belt days or effortlessly running several miles!

With three young children and a demanding full-time job, I found countless excuses for the weight gain and chronic fatigue, but one day the phrase "You can't pour from an empty cup" struck a chord.

I resolved to make a change, reignited my exercise routine, and immediately noticed a significant improvement in my mood. While it took some time to establish consistency in my nutrition, I eventually embraced the importance of protein and food as fuel.

The changes didn’t happen overnight, but consistency matters!

Now in my mid-forties, I’m in the best shape of my life and have discovered a true passion for personal training, particularly in empowering women through strength training. I believe this is especially crucial as women age, as it not only increases bone density but also generates a sense of well-being. As I like to say, “There's no better feeling than being strong!" — my preteen and teenage daughters want to be strong, too, and that keeps me motivated!

At TBM, we understand that losing oneself doesn't happen overnight; it's a gradual and often imperceptible process. Our mission is to assist you in uncovering and conquering obstacles along your fitness journey, which can sometimes include hormonal challenges. Together, we can help you become the strongest version of yourself. So, what's holding you back? We would be thrilled to accompany you on your journey!

Health and fitness were not always a priority for me. I grew up on processed foods without considering their effects on my body. As I got older, I witnessed my loved ones suffering due to poor lifestyle choices and decided I wanted to break the cycle. However, as a busy mother of three, I struggled to prioritize my health until I realized I needed to set a good example for my children.

This led me to focus on nutrition and physical activity, something I’ve always enjoyed. After having my third child, I felt uncomfortable in my body and began weightlifting at home, which I quickly grew passionate about due to the positive results.

This journey inspired me to share wellness with others, especially women, and led me to earn certifications as a holistic health coach and personal trainer. I’ve learned that nourishing both mind and body is key to lasting health.

As a former client at TBM, I can personally attest to the outstanding support and training provided by Alicia. At TBM, you receive personalized expertise and care, not just in strength training but in overall health. I’m excited to now be part of the team, helping other women break old cycles and age with strength and grace.

Certifications: NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Integrative Nutrition Certified Health Coach.

Fitness has always played a significant role in my life. I grew up playing soccer and stayed active into adulthood, trying everything from running marathons to kickboxing. But it wasn't until I picked up a barbell that I truly found my passion.

As I dedicated myself to getting stronger, something beautiful happened - my focus shifted from physical appearance to achieving mental and physical health. I began to prioritize wellness, confidence, and longevity. Now, I want to help other women experience that same transformation so they can thrive both inside and outside of the gym.

My biggest source of inspiration is my family. My husband has been dedicated to working out his whole life. My parents remain active, proving that fitness is crucial for maintaining a high quality of life at any age.

I feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside Alicia and the other trainers at TBM, helping women become the best versions of themselves.
